Authentic Communication

The invitation of Authentic Communication is to
cultivate self-awareness, listen with intention,
and communicate with honesty, clarity, and consistency
- whether at work, at home, or at play.

Authentic Communication enhances efficiency and effectiveness, reduces misunderstandings and missed opportunities, and infuses dignity and integrity into relationships with teammates, clients, family and friends. It cultivates a culture of increased impact with heightened integration, transparency and trust. In this environment individuals, teams and organizations thrive -- they exceed expectations and, more often than not, they have fun doing it.

Through our work we apply the three principles of Authentic Communication:
  1. BE :: Foster presence and awareness as the foundation for all communication.
  2. LISTEN :: Connect more deeply, enhance understanding, and increase productivity by listening with intention.
  3. ACT :: To communicate is to take action. Authentic Communication is mindful action that privileges relationship, promotes teamwork and efficacy, and generates results.

Practical tools, easy-to-use strategies, and heart-felt encouragement combine to make communicating with authenticity a practice to embrace for a lifetime.

Jennifer did a fabulous job of keeping the workshop lively, interactive and useful to all the participants. Her personal approach set everyone at ease. That is somewhat of an intangible benefit, but it’s still very important as it helps foster teamwork and a collaborative approach.
